Congratulations to Jennifer M. Bennett who graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz campus in June with a B. S. degree in Marine Biology. She received college honors for contribution through extra activities. Jennifer was on the soccer team and was privileged to be in the tournament three times. She plans to stay in California, working as a tour guide to the state parks. Jennifer is the daughter of John Bennett and we wish success to our Boston young lady.
It’s always birthday time and this week wishes go out to Chriss Hetzer who had his day yesterday; to my niece, Michelle Swindler who celebrates her day today; to Mary Thompson on Friday; and next Wednesday Lisa Dodson adds another year. Please Lord, grant each one many more birthdays.
Mrs. Henry Wharton and Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were Monday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Baldwin and Wayne on Route 707, and the ladies later motored on to Culpeper and visited Anna Dodson, Faye Casey and Charles Yates at the Health Center.
