Little League registration
Culpeper Little League will hold registration for fall baseball on Saturday, July 31 dnd Saturday, Aug. 7 at Dave Canavan Athletic Complex from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. for ages 816. Residents of Culpeper and Rappahannock counties are eligible. Teams will be structured based on registration numbers. Fall ball does require some traveling to neighboring counties. Family reunion

Rappahannock Cellars Winery in Huntly will mark its fifth anniversary with a celebration of food, wine and music on the weekend of July 31 and Aug. 1. The Miller Sisters will play a mix of country, blues, bluegrass and vintage rock & roll from 2-5 p.m. on July 31. On Aug. 1, Danny Schneible will sing forgotten songs from the realms of folk, oldies and easy listening from 1-4 p.m.
Democrats to meet
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will meet Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 7:15 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. Refreshments and conversation are from 7:15-7:45 p.m. when the general meeting will begin featuring a presentation on the new Medicare health plan by Frank Brosgol. Everyone is invited. Rappahannock Free Clinic
The Rappahannock Free Clinic will be open Wednesday, Aug. 4 at the Rappahannock Health Department in Washington. Patient registration is 5:30-6:30 p.m. There is a shortage of nurses to assist at the clinic. Those willing to help (it is not necessary to be an RN) are urged to call the clinic at 675-2525 or 347-0394.
Library Fun For All Ages ’
Rappahannock County Library’s “Fun For All Ages” continues through August with two presentations. Magician “Ralph The Great” will provide the silliness Saturday, Aug. 7, while storyteller and master musician Bill Wellington will take the floor on Saturday, Aug. 21. Board meeting canceled
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board and Area Agency on Aging has canceled its Aug. 10 meeting. The next meeting of the board is Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. at its Bradford Road office in Culpeper.
Weekend of music
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department invites everyone to a lawn party weekend with entertainment on Saturday, Aug. 14 and Sunday, Aug. 15 Bluegrass music by Frank Riley & Friends is the program for Aug. 14 from 5- 9 p.m. On Aug. 15, Southern Gospel music will be performed by The Kings Travelers from 1-5 p.m. There will be food, beverages and fire-fighting demonstrations.
