The Virginia Department of Historic Resources will hold a Public Information Meeting to discuss the proposed Laurel Mills Historic District, Rappahannock County, Virginia. The distnct has been recommended eligible for the Virginia Landmarks and National Register. A completed final report will be presented to the State Review Board and the Historic Resources Board on September 8th, 2004 (in Newport News). A Public Information Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 29th, 2004, beginning at 7:00 pm. in the Laurel Mills Store, 461 Laurel Mills Road, Castleton, Virginia 22716.
