Shenandoah National Park continues its Field Seminar series on Wednesday, Aug. 4 with an all-day seminar entitled, “Voice of the Wilderness,” celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Wilderness Act by encouraging people to explore Shenandoah’s wilderness.
From John Muir’s writings to Ansel Adams’ photography, voices of artists have played an important role in the preservation of wild places. Voice of the Wilderness will give participants the opportunity to continue in this American tradition.
