This letter is in response to
the July 22 front page article in the Rappahannock News entitled “Meet Douglas Combs.” Granted Mr. Combs has accomplished much in his life, but is this front page news? Our newspaper is one of the few local sources of news that we can use to learn about our own world.
With the serious situation of the world today I can think of “much more important news” then a story about someone who has successfully made money with money in the world markets, and who feels compelled to tiy and tackle farming
