Soon the holidays will be over, all of the goodies will have disappeared and thoughts of getting rid of those unwanted pounds will begin to take over.
For the Rappahannock community, help is right here in the county.
The Rapp-fit fitness center is located in Rappahannock County High School and is available to the public and students, with coaches also using the facility as a training center for the high school’s athletes.
After six months in operation, Rapp-fit is servicing approximately 25 people a day and currently has almost no overhead.
The Everest
Challenge
The center has used a portion of the federal grant money that was received by the county last year to purchase a tenfoot mechanical climbing wall.
