Arvella V. Newlin

Arvella Virginia Newlin, 72, of Benyville, Va., died Dec. 24 at a local nursing home.
She was bom Dec. 8, 1932 in Hedgesville, W. Va. to the late Melvin Snyder and the late Cora Lee Tevalt Snyder.
Mrs. Newlin was a cafeteria worker at Clarke County High School. She was a member of the Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church in Berryville.
Mrs. Newlin is survived by a son, Harry A. Newlin of Flint Hill. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Lynn Welch.
A funeral service was held Dec. 28 at Enders and Shirley Funeral Home Chapel in Benyville, Va. with Rev. Sandra H. Stamey officiating.
