'Die Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the community (RAAC) brings this winning film to The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington, Friday, February 3 at 8 p.m. Based on John le Carre’s novel, activist Tessa Quayle (Rachel Weisz) is found brutally murdered in Kenya. Her husband, Justin Ralph Fiennes embarks on a personal odyssey which will lead him into a conspiracy more far-reaching than he could ever have imagined.

February 4: Baseball registration

The Rappahannock Culpeper Babe Ruth Baseball League will be holding registration for the upcoming 2006 spring season. Stuart Field, home of RAA/RCB, is conveniently located just a few minutes from Clevenger’s comer traffic light off Route 211. Registration will be held on two Saturdays, February 4 and 11 at the Jeffersonton Community Center from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
