Division Manager -Parks
Loudoun County s position will manage service delivery programs for parks through the coordination and linking of resources to ensure quality service delivery. This includes responsibility for active and passive regional parks that include recreation centers, sportsplexes, ballfields, swimming pools, performing arts center, and farm museum. This position will supervise program managers and volunteers. Submits management plans and budget requests within designated deadlines Ensures that annual expenditures do not exceed allocations and tfjat revenue targets are met. Responds to requests from local media for information about assigned facilities and programs. Provides leadership and ensures department2s future goals are consistent with overall County priorities and objectives. Provides resource management, including cost/benefit analysis, to ensure best allocation and use of program staff, facilities and equipment. Schedule may include evenings and weekends. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Masters degree in Leisure/Park Management or related field with at least 4 years directly related work experience, including 2 years supervisory experience.
