in Valentine festivities held Sunday at Black Oak Church.
We’d like to let the many friends of Mr. Cecil Printz know that after a stay in Culpeper Regional Hospital and Culpeper Health Rehab Center, he is now a resident of the Jackson House in Boston.
Family and friends here have received word, that after a long illness, Mrs. Mary Corbin has passed away at her home in Winchester.
Congratulations and continued announcements have been given by Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Alback of Rev a Way, upon the recent marriage of their son, Karl, to Miss Pammook Nankang, the wedding took place in Bangkok Thailand, the bride being a native of Thailand, however the couple met at Kansas State University, where they were students Karl will graduate in April.
We congratulate our young people who strive to do their best, especially being proud of those from our community who made the Honor Roll for the past grading period at Rappahannock Elementary School, namely Shelby Thornhill, Sarah Thornhill, Jessica Shaw, Brandon Rutherford and Miranda Shaw. Our apology is in order for any who were missed.
Our prayers go up for the Letsen family upon the loss of their little one. who now is resting in the arms of our Lord.
Congratulations are in order for Mrs Pat Brown, who was chosen “Employee of The Month” at CVS Pharmacy in Culpeper, where she has been employed for the past 33 years.
Last Sunday members of Black Oak Church including Pastor and Mrs. Richards, Owen Cubbage, Julia Sisk, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Shaw, Marie Atkins. Ada Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tharp were all luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Bretzin on Raccoon Road.
Reva Way residents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Yates, continue to receive congratulations upon the arrival of their little son, Elizah Andrew, at Fauquier Hospital, the first of the month.
Birthday greetings are extended to those celebrating this week including, Jimmy Cubbage, Junior Gray and cousin, Edna Dennin, with prayers for many more years to each of you.
