The energetic master photographers of Blue Ridge Workshops have scheduled a series of rigorous three-day photography workshops in Sperryville for June 6-8. Thenphilosophy, which is totally compatible with that of our special village, led them to select Old Rag Gallery on Main Street in Sperryville as their base of operations. Their goal is to “create a community of existing and future photographers and artists who want to learn new photographic techniques and artistic expressions that wili energize their photographic and creative skills. We want to provide a great learning environment that will prove to be extremely educational, enjoyable and rewarding. A place where formal does not exist, and old photographic rules are made to be broken." I think that sounds like Sperryville! The workshops, because they will be small groups, will be able to serve both novices and more experienced photographers.
