The sixth winery to be built in Rappahannock County is in the works at the Blue Rock Inn. Tareq Saluhi. owner of Oasis Winery in Hume, and Blue Rock owner Gory Harvey have partnered to develop the new winery.
Doug Arnold, an assistant at the Hume winery, said Harvey and Sulahi plan to break ground on a state-ofthe-art wine production facility in the fall and open in 2009. Sulahi was not available for cumment.
“It's going to be a spectacular new winery devoted to champagne and sparkling wine, along with red and white Wines that Oasis makes so well,’ Arnold said.
