Dr. Joyce Harman of Flint Hill will conduct a saddle fitting clinic March 20-23 at Toad Hollow Farm in Charlottesville. Harman, a holistic veterinarian, authored the book ‘The Horse’s Pain-Free Back and- Saddle Fitting."

The Clifton Horse Society will host a grooming clinic March 29 at a stable in Fairfax. Instruction begins at 10 a.m., with lectures on grooming, clipping and braiding. The cost is $15.
CHS will also host its annual "bluebell ride" April 12 at the Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville. The ride begins at 10:30 a.m. and will last about two hours. A picnic lunch follows the ride.
