Plan Seminar
The Lord Fairfax Small Business Development ('enter (SBDC) has announced the next two seminurs in the spring schedule for starting a small business. The Center is a joint effort of the Small Business Administration (SBA>, the Virginia Small Business Development Center. Lord Fairfax Community College and the counties of the service area.
The first seminar will be Writing a Business Plan, seminar will be held on Wednesday, March 19 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Lord Fairfax Community College- Fauquier campus. The follow up seminur will be Financials for the Business Plan on Wednesday, March 26 from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. also at LFCCFauquier. Both classes will be taught by David Reardon of the Small Business Development Center.
A business plan should be written by any entrepreneur thinking of starting a business- whether for a bank loan or for planning and goal setting purposes. Participants of the first seminar will learn what to include in a business plan, what the bank is looking for, and where to get that information. The follow up class will assist the participant in completing the financial data required on tfoe business plan.
