Adoptions information
Prospective adoptive parents are invited to a |omt presentation by Catholic Chanties ot the Diocese ot Arlington and Catholic Social Services ot the Diocese of Charlotte about adopting children from Russia and China. The two agencies are working in partnership to help place children from these two countries in loving, permanent homes.
Both agencies are licensed and so far 800 children have been placed throughout the United States. Meeting will be held Tuesday. On Friday evening, April 11. RappCats will host Catstravaganza at the Middleton Inn. Washington. VA.. ‘mm 6:00 -9:00 p.m. County favorites, nationally known jazz pianist Bill Harris will play, and vocal recording artist. Monica Worth will sing. Great hor d'ouvres will be served and intriguing items will be raffled. The event is in support of RappCats, the county's organization to help the county's abused and homeless cats. feet moving!
The Hound Duwg Hoedown kicks off at 6:30 in the evening at the Schoolhouse in Sperryville with a Square Dance. Dinner and Silent Auction to benefit the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League. Music by Morrison Brothers Band, dance calling by Brad Sayler. The cost is $75 00 per person. For a better deal, buy a table tor eight or ten at $50.00 per person. Please reserve the date of April 12 on your calendars for the annual Coffee House, given by the Rappahannock County Band Boosters in the RCES cafeteria. This much anticipated event will begin at 5 p.m and will feature gaily decorated tables, candlelight, a homemade spaghetti dinner, door prizes, and a variety of entertainment by local talent from the county The band students will serve as wait staff, and delicious desserts baked by band parents will be available along with coffee.
