Essay contest

The Cmted Daughters of the Confederacy Culpeper Chapter #7:1 cordially invite the students of Rappahannock County to participate in their annual essay contest.
The format for this contest has changed. For lower grades there is a colonngdrawing contest and upper grades will have an essay format.
There is a category for High School, Middle and Elementary age students. IVivate and Home Schooled students are encouraged to enter as well!
Prises will be awarded for each grade category: 1-2, 3-5. 68, 9-12. Pnaw are: First place. $50.00, Second place, $35.00, and Third place. $25 00
If you have an interest in History a copy of the essay rules and checklist can be obtained through the Rappahannock County Public Schools. Wakefield Country Day School, Hearthstone School, and the Rappahannock County Public labrary.
The deadline for the essay is April 15, 2008 but it doesn't have to he about tax returns'
