"We help home-bound patients learn how to manage their own illness or injury,” Usa says. "We provide wound care and we treat diabetes, stroke, heart, and lung disease patients. We act as a liaison between the patients and their physicians, we make sure the home environments are sale, and we make sure the patients have the equipment and supplies they need to remain as independent as possible ”
Home Health nurses put a lot of miles on their cars, but that's not a problem for Lisa. “Some of the areas 1 travel through have the most beautiful scenery, especially when there is snow on the ground or horses out in the fields. On those days. 1 don't mind the driving.”
