glazed pots
These come in a wide variety of shapes, color and styles to match just about any decor. The glazing on the outside makes them durable, but over time, you may have problems with the glaze chipping off when water seeps through the clay from inside the pot. To prevent this, spray the inside with Spray n’ Seal pottery sealer before adding soil.
Wooden
containers
Wooden barrels and planter boxes come as the traditional half-whiskey barrel or the redwood or cedar barrel and planter box. They are heavy, and the bottoms rot out after a few years. Using a plant stand will extend the life : of the planters.
