Joining Tupper in the rotation will be Butler and junior Cameron Massey and Travis Jenkins. Butler and Massey, who has spent two years with the junior varsity program, are left-handers who also play in the outfield. Jenkins, an honorable mention All-Group A state infielder, will split time at short and on the mound.
Settle gives the Panthers experience at first base. Barron saw time a year ago as a third baseman. Wiese is a fleet-footed outfielder.
The rest of the roster includes freshmen Connor Settle, who will be in the outfield, and Matt Fletcher, an infielder, and sophomores Chris Garcia, Tyler Williams and Evan Espinola. Garcia will play second base, Williams and Espinola will be in the outfield.
Jenkins liked what he saw from his Panthers in Friday’s scrimmage at Page County. Rappahannock County won, 6-5, in nine innings.

With the graduation losses of outfielder Bobby Czekqj, shortstop Adam Gessner, infielder Chris Anderson, catcher Will Miller and pitcher/outfielder Ethan Russell, the district may be a bit skeptical to rate the Panthers highly in preseason predictions.
That does not bother Jenkins. The district boosts the defending state champion in Strasburg, and a young but strong Manassas Park team. -
