Any questions about the relative strength of steeplechasing were answered at entry time for this Saturday’s Warrenton Hunt Foint-to-Foint. Nine carded races could split into as many as 15 with overflowing entries across the board.
Seventeen are entered in the maiden hurdle, 15 in the newly created “restricted” maiden hurdle ( for first-season horses,.) 12 m the novice timber and 21 in the novice rider flat.
Poet time is 12:30 p.m. at the Airhe racecourse north of Warrenton.
The featured Warrenton Hunt Cup attracted nine, headed by Rappahannock winner Barzulu and sanctioned winners Move West and Straight Path from the strong Strawbridge family contingent in F^nrisylvania’s steeplechase country
