Mostly Ranger Descendants
The Mosby Heritage Area Association is sponsoring a Mosby Ranger Descendant Reunion for the granddaughters and grandsons of Mosby Rangers, their servants, and Colonel Mosby himself. This event will take place on June 10 at Green Garden, the home of Ranger Dolly Richards, near Upperville, VA. The evening will begin with a picnic supper on the lawn. The Gray Ghost Interpretive Group, the MHAA's interpretive group, will present a program featuring the story of Dolly Richards and Ns escape from capture at Green Garden in February 1865. Music will be provided by the Tuscarora Band. Those granddaughters and grandsons wishing to attend the event should contact the Mosby Heritage Area Association at 540-687-6681 or by email at info@mosbyheritagearea.org to register.
