A former lawyer, Levine took up photography as a serious pursuit a few years ago. In a relatively short period, her work has been selected for four juried shows, taking second and third prizes in two of them. Additionally, one of her photos was included in The Piedmont Virginian’s pictorial article, “Thirteen Ways of Looking at Old Rag” (Autumn 2007, p. 53), which presented works from what the magazine termed “some of the region’s most accomplished artists.”
Anthes is a free-lance writer and photographer who contributes to the Travel section of The Washington Post. His most recent story recounted his trip to photograph the abandoned homesteads and towns of western Nebraska. A number of his photographs have won prizes and have been selected to hang in juried shows in the past two years.
