Urban Green
The ‘re-greening* of urban sites reaps many long-term benefits. They paved paradise and put up a parking lot was Joni Mitchell’s observation of a world made of concrete, steel and glass. It was a warning call in the sixties. Fortunately we haven’t reached that point yet. If anything, we are now taking active steps to re-green urban sites that have long been neglected and to protect the trees living there.
