May 4: Time for trilliums

Sunday, May 4, at 1 p.m. Thompson Wildlife Management Area Trillium Walk (near Linden, Virginia). Kristin Zimet and Richard Stromberg will lead a walk at the Virginia Native Plant Society Registry Site in the G. Richard Thompson Wildlife Management Area to see the Trilliums and other spring flowers. Meet at the Trillium Parking Lot on Virginia Route 638 north of Linden. May 6: Registration for Kindergarten

All children who will be 5-years-old by September 30. 2008 may enter Kindergarten this August. Registration for new Kindergartners will be held at RCES on Tuesday, May 6, Wednesday, May 7 and Thursday. May 8. The hours are 9:00 a.m.-1l:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. by appointment. If you know of any children in Rappahannock County who will be five by September 30 (including your own), we would greatly appreciate your giving us that information so that we may contact their parents and arrange an appointment. Committee meeting

The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold-v its monthly meeting on Tuesday. May 6, at 7 p.m. in the Jamieson Room at the Rappahannock County Library. Doors will open at 6:45.Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
