If Rappahannock is to retain its indigenous beauty it must retain it's open space. I feel the Supervisors must make special allowances for open space just as they did with the cell phone towers. The absolute quiet enjoyment of a few must be compromised for the greater good of all Rappahannock.
The definitive question is will the Supervisors act in the best long term interests of Rappahannock County or yield to a small group of “not in my backyard activists”? Do the Supervisors support agri-tourism or development? Because that is the very real alternative. Is the county going to support the sustainability of open space and farming or capitulate to special interests? If you are concerned please voice your opinion to your supervisors.
