The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at 7 o'clock tonight before voting on the proposed purchase of the Washington Arts Building on Gay Street from Peter Kramer for additional county offices.
Tlie vote comes amid some criticism that the county may be spending more to buy the building than it is worth.
The purchase price has been set at $975,000 which is well above the latest assessed value (January 2006) of $658,100.
