It’s high time we gave these young people the kudos and recognition they deserve. At the Regional Championship, I overheard a conversation between other coaches and players—they actually are fearful of facing Rappahannock! Finally, I thought, some R-E-S-P-E-C-T, like Aretha Franklin sang about.
I am so proud of this team, especially because they are achieving success through their thirst for learning. After all, a sound academic program is undeniably at the core of our mission as Rappahannock teachers.
