This is my eighth year of teaching
in this comfnunity and coaching Scholastic Bowl at Rappahannock County High School, one of the smallest public high schools in Virginia, a dot on the map.
I feel so blessed to work here and witness the growth of this team over the years, and especially this year. I credit this success to the hard work of the teachers of the Rappahannock County Public Schools, the love and support of parents, and the close sense of community which makes Rappahannock such a special place for young minds to grow and develop.
I also thank the Rappahannock News for its coverage of our success: an undefeated season (15-0), a Bull Run District Championship, and now a Regional Championship. In a few weeks we travel to States again for the third time in three years, and then the NAQT National Championship in Chicago in May.
