Management Information Systems (MIS) The Rappahannock Regional Jail in Stafford, Virginia is seeking to fill the position of Director of Management Information Systems. The Director of MIS is responsible for planning, design, maintenance. troubleshooting and implementation of all information technology infrastructures as well as all desktop and business systems, including web design, and hardware within the facility. The Director manages and directs the daily operating schedule and prioritization of the MIS staff. The Director proposes budgets and expends monies as authorized. The position will assure proper training and education of staff and personnel within the facility on ail systems. Interested applicants should be in possession of an Associates Degree or be working toward a degree in business management, computer science or a related field: plus three years network design and maintenance: plus four years of management experience. Applicants must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal tactfully and work well with management, peers, and customers.
Correctional Officer The Rappahannock Regional Jail is seeking a career-oriented individual who enjoys working with people, personal challenges and the opportunity for advancement. Responsibilities involve direct supervision of inmates. Candidates must be adaptable and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
