If I did, I wonder if the words of our founding fathers would be questioned as to their truth. The founding fathers left behind many letters and other writings that clearly show they considered this a Christian Nation. The founders of our country put God in our Constitution! The supreme law of the land exemplifies the position God held in the hearts and minds of the founding fathers. Yes, many people came to America fleeing religious persecution. Yes, England had a National Church. Do you really suppose that in 1776 freedom of religion was about what religion you practiced? Or, do you suppose it was about the freedom to worship the God
