Elinor Marion Perez

January 23, 1915 - February 15, 2009

Elinor M. Perez, 94, was mot and welcomed into Heaven by her beloved grandson, Dylan Matthew Corbin on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Culpeper Regional Hospital, She was bom on January 23, 1915 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State Umv. with a Bachelors Degree in Business and Psychology and received her Masters in International Relations and Affairs from American University. She moved later moved to Washington, DC, then to Falls Church and later to Reston, Virginia where she and her daughter were the proud 499 and 500 residents of that new town in 1966. While living in Reston, she was instrumental in helping to establish the Reston Commuter Bus system and to help build the Reston Community Center. She retired from the CIA- Central Intelligence Agency after 25 years, working as an editor and writer during her career, prior to that she worked for The State Department, another government agency. She sold real estate for Long and Foster. She was a lifelong learner.
