REGULATIONS CONCERNING TAP FEES AND

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE COSTS

The Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority shall hold a public hearing on Thursday. March 5. 2009 at 7:30 PM in the Courthouse in Washington. VA. to consider deleting the following provision from its adopted rules and regulations: The second paragraph of Section VIII D. reading as follows: “The Authority shall not utilize monies collected under this paragraph for the purpose of defraying operation and maintenance costs of the sewer system.” This hearing is advertised and w ill be held in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Virginia. 1950, as amended. All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting and make comment on the proposed amendment.
