“Claudia is a force of nature,” fellow town council member John Sullivan once remarked.
And while she was a bold and persevering person, as friends describe her, she had a great sense of fun. Always, she would say goodbye to telephone callers with “Toodles.”
Claudia first moved to the county 20 years ago from Shirlington, Va. She lived in Flint Hill until a job transfer took her to Richmond where she lived until she returned to Washington in 2000. This was her home.
Claudia was employed as a lighting design consultant for the French firm. Rexel, based out of Warrenton. Rexel purchased the old Branch Electric stores.
