Several times duriqg the early portion of the meeting questions ran on a tangent to the subject at discussion. Finally, Mrs. E. T. Cox asked about the accredited rating of the two existing high schools.
Mr. Gasque answered the questions with direct “yes” and “no” and then explained that the only difference between “accredited” and “certified” was a matter of the number of pupils. One high school had more than 75, it is called “accredited”; one has less than 75, it is called “certified.” There is no other difference in rating of quality of instruction, nor future acceptance of credits in colleges.
