Th<‘ hoy- of he fourth, fifth, and sixth Trader of Washington school, organised a model airplane cluli which meets Friday evening. Officers are. president, Charles Hunter; vice-president, Robert Bailey; secretary, Melvin Jordon; assistant secretary, Charles Brooks; treasurer, Roper Roberts. Those on the committee of supplies and materials are James Arthur Freeman, chairman; Edwin Roberts, and James Jordon, Jr. These clubs were organized under the direction of Mrs. Dorothy Porter.
Mrs. *R. C. Roberts is organizing an art club on which there will be a report in the near future.

The Slabtown district convention will be held at the George Washington Carver Regional High School in Cu.lpeper on Friday, February 17, at 8 p.m. This is sponsored by the Rappahannock P.-T.A. Admission 50c and 25c.
Carroll Bridget of Washington, D. C., spent the week end .with his mother, Mrs. Lola Bridget, and also Mr. and Mrs. Howard .Lawson and children and R. H. Williams of Amissville. Mrs. Lola Bridget was bitten by a dog last week at the Rock Mills store.
The Washington school will present a variety show at the at the school auditorium on Friday, February 24, at 8 p.m. There will be various interpretive dances such as Russian, Cossack, Grecian, Laconga, and other’s. A mock wedding will also be presented in which Mary Moore Johnson will become the bride of Robert Bailey. Admission 15c .and 25c.
