Dr. J. G. Brown, 82
Dies At Woodville Home
Dr. James Gideon Blown, 82, died at his home in Woodville 'Wednesday morning, February 15.
A lifelong resident of Rappahannock county, Dr. Brown had been practicing medicine in the county for the past 50 years. He was „a prominent Mason for 30 years.
Graveside services will be held in the family section of the Episcopal church cemetery at .Woodville' todaj^; at 3 o’clock, with Dr. W. G. Pendleton officiating.
Those who will serve as pallbearers are Harold Brown, Jr.,' Jack Brown, J. Rodes Brown, Jr., Dr. J. P. Snead, James W. Fletcher, and Dr. ames O. Quaintance.
Dr. Brown was the son of Robert Lee Brown and Eliza Thom•Hill. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Reid Brown; a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Reid Jones; and four sons, Harold G. Brown of Winchester, Julian Brown of Culpeper, J. Rodes Brown of Sperryville, and Robert L. Brown.
