Floor Sanding
Demonstration
A Floor Sanding Demonstration will be held sometime this month, in the cofunty. Mr. Do Boer will be present to give the floor sanding demonstration. The demonstration will be held in ahome in the county and a floor 12' by 12' will actually be sanded and refinished during the day. All home demonstration members and the general public will be asked to attend. This floor sanding demonstration is for the purpose of teaching persons present how they can sand floors themselves with the new sanding machine on the market. When you learn how, and Mr. De Boer will let anyone try the machine that wishes, you can then rent a machine yourself and sand and refinish your own floors. Watch for the date the sanding demonstration will he held. It will he something that you will $yant to attend, After the demonstration, if you need any help the agent and leaders present will be glad to assist you.
Blue Valley Boys Appear
At W. H. S. Tomorrow
Come on out to hea’r the Blue Valley Boys, Friday night, February 17, at the Washington High School. The Blue Valley Boys will play for a show, which starts at 7:30 p.m., and lasts until 9:00 p.m. The dance begins right after the show. Admission for the show adults 60c; children 30c. Admission for the dance, $1.20 per person, including tax. The Amissville Home Demonstration club is sponsoring this show and dance. Plan an evening of fen and frolic. Don’t miss the show and dance.
