David 0. Selznick’s long-awaited production, “Portrait of Jennie," which is rated one of his finest films since “Gone With the Wind" and which opens next Wednesday at the Pitts Theatre, Culpeper, has a production record which exceeds in scope any recent film release.
The picture, stalling Jennifer Jones. Joseph Gotten, Ethel Rarryinoie and other distinguished players, was two years in the making and is a strong candidate for the vario s Academy Award honors.
