Girls' Basketball
The Sperryville and Luray girls played at Luray on Tuesday evening, February 7. The Luray girls won with a score of 35-30.
The Sperryville girls played the Marshall girls on Monday evening, February 13. The Sperryville girls won with a score of 36-29.
Senior 4-H Club News
The Senior 4-H Club met on Monday, February 13. The girls wroked on their garments witn Miss Sollenberger advising them.
Second Grade Conducts
Chapel Exercises
The Second grade presented the Chapel program on Friday, February 10. Mary Lou Davis read the scripture. The program consisted of singing and dancing and reciting of a poem. Mrs. Moffett accompanied on the piano.
Mrs. C. B. Johnson substituted for Mrs. Ann Menefee on Monday, February 13. Mrs. Menefee was absent because of illness.
Mrs. C. B. Johnson substituted for Professor H. B- Winfrey on Tuesday, February 14. Professor W’infrey was absent because of illness.

An actual summary of the freedoms being given up by American citizens through their indifference to government, will be given by William J. Bird, national affairs advisor, Chamber of Commerce of the United States, at 7:15 o’clock Tuesday night over radio station WCVA.
This will be the last in a series of eight broadcasts which have been made available in the interest of morje information to a greater number of local citizens by the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce in co-operation wfith the national chamber of commerce.
