A committee composed of practically all of the breed association officers, experiment station veterinarians, Dr. Young, representati\es of the extension service, and representative's of our office,' has discussed the matter of a practical approach to this problem and the participation of the various agencies in it at considerable length. We have arrived at a solution that appears workable, we are going to try. Certainly it is not the final one, it is just the beginning but I think it is a step in the right direction. Now; with the money we have, and the arrangements we have made,' the practicing veterinarians in the State are going to do a great deal of the actual wprk in this program for w'hich the State of Virginia is prepared to pay him an acceptable fee that he is already agreed to take.
