Massie, Jr., suggested the moving of the Sperryville high school pupils to Washington and consolidate into one.
Two young men in. rapid succession rose to state that they had understood the purpose of * "the meeting was to decide Where to locate the consolidate^ high school. The latter of the two felt that the citizens should have the right tS choose the location.
W. F. Moffett, Jr., asked what recommendations the school board thought best.
Chairman Galley Smith replied to this with the statement that there were no funds for any plans.
J. W. (Fletcher requested a school board opinion on consolidation—what it should be, and whether there should be a new 'building or use the old ones.
Dr. John P. Snead replied to this in- a carefully phrased and concise suggestion. The purpose of the board, he sdid, was to give the children of the county as many advantages as possible in the Tnost economical way possible. He recommended consolidation at once, with the people deciding
