Bobby Atkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Atkins of Sperryville, bought his calf in the fall. It had been bred on the farm of John S. Buckner. The calf won fourth place in the light weight Angus class.
Premium money of the show ranged from $10 for first down to i$l for eighth in each class, with silver trophies for breed champions, grand champion, and best fitted and shoiwn animals.

Garden Club Meets
With Mrs. C. E. Johnson
Mrs. W. P. Martin of the Cauntry Garden club of Culpeper was guest speaker of the Rappahannock Garden club, meeting with Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Martin discussed the federation of garden clubs with which the Rappahannock club will become affiliated in May.
Mrs. E. M. Jones was elected p.esident of the club; Mrs. J. P. Snead, vice-president; Mrs. R. V. Snead, secretary; Mrs. J. M. Settle, treasurer; and Mrs. W. G. Pendleton, librarian.
Exhibits were of arrangements of wild flowers. Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., received first highest rating; Mrs. E. M. Jones, second, hnd third highest score was awarded Mrs. J. G. Revercomb.
