In line with plans to improve the service the Shenandoaji Area Council is giving, Mr. Knisley will he located in Strashurg, Va., where he will work in the TwoRivers and Shenco Dictricts.
Mr. Kn'sley i= married and has a two and one-half year old son. He has a Ion? record of service with the Boy Scouts of America, starting at the age of 12. He is an Eagle Scout and has held all the offices in a Boy Scout Troop. His volunteer work was done in the Lehigh Council with headquarters in Allentown, Pa., where he served as Assistant District Commissioner, Scoutmaster, Waterfrpnt Director, and Assistant Camp Director. He also served on the National Staff in the Supply Department before enterin? the Navy in 1942. As a Physical Training Instructor he spent a great deal of time teaching Navy recruits to swim, and is well qualified in all phases of water work.
He is a member of the Presbyterian church and has been secretary of the Church Council, and a deacon. During his college -days he was active in Student Government.
The Knisleys will move to Stras^ . burg so that he can take up his duties May 1.
Miss Mary Massie Lea, of Stuart Hall, Spent the week end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea, and attended the dance at R. M. A., Front Royal, Saturday night.
