Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., entertained at a theatre party on Saturday evening at the Washington Theatre, in celebration of the ninth birthday anniversary of her son, George H. Davis, III. Guests present were Hill Walker, Hanny: Jjnk^ JEiizabeth^ Verner, Becky Jones, Neville Wood, Evelyn Tyler Miller, Carolyn Gates Turner, Carlyle Lea, John Turner, Mary Norman Davis, Newbill Miller, Frances Walker, Dorothy Taylor Davis, and Margaret Link.

Canasta Party At

“Mt. Prospect”

Mrs. W. A. Miller entertained the members of the canasta club at “Mt. Prospect” Wednesday afternoon, April 20.

Carlyle Lea won the 'nigh score prize and John Turner the consolation one. Mary Norman Davis won the prize in the balloon blowing contest and Neville Wood received the prize in a number counting contest.

Others playing were George II. Davis, III, Carolyn Gates Turner, Becky Jones, and Evelyn Tyler Miller.
