Scedmen’s School At
VPI July 6 and 7
Seed growers and dealers will attend a Seedsmen’s School at V. P. I„ J-.ly 6 and 7, W. W. Lewis, associate agronomist at the college, announces.
The school is being conducted by the V. P. I. agronomy department in cooperation with the Virginia Seedmen’s Association and the State Department of Agricul•uie. Lewis and Richard Chumney, Carter-Venable Company, Richmond, are members of the procram committee. •
Speakers scheduled to appear Include: Rodney C. Berry and Dr. CL T. French. State Department of Agriculture, Richmond; W. I. Thomas, P. M. A., Richmond; M. W. Hudson, Seed Stocks and Crop improvement Association, Richmond; Ea.l Wetesel, president Seedsmen's Association, Harrisonburg; and Dr. H. L. Dunton, P. H. DeHart, J. C. Rowell, Dr. Wesley Judkins, S. B. Fenne. and S. F. Grubbs, all of the V. P. I. staff.
The address of welcome wild be given by Dr. W. S. Newman, president of V. P. I.
