On Monday, the 17th of April a half-day meeting was held on “Slip Covering’’ at the home of Mrs. Ruby Wines at Chester Gap. The agent showed the women present how to e t out a slip cover by cutting a pattern for them out of feed sack material. Mrs. Wines has signed up in the “Living Room” campaign and plans to make a klip cover and drapes for her living room.

Mrs. Lewis Harrison entertained the Huntly Home Demonstration club April 18. Around three women from this club decided they would attend the District Meeting in Fairfax May 2. The agent announced a recreation meeting to be held in Charlottesville on the 29th. Mrs. Pearl Mills will represent her club at the meeting. The agent also announced a Kitchen Meeting to be held in the county on 'the 8th of May— all women interested were asked to attend. A demonstration was then given on “Window Treatment." Three women in the ciub plan to do something to improve their living room. Mrs. Lewi§ Harlison, Mrs. Minnie Fox, and Mrs. Pearl Mills are the three that plan to do this. Then the hostess served to the git>up most delicior s doughnuts and peaches.

The Flint Hill Home Demonstration Club met at the home of Mrs. Gallie Smith, May 18. Mrs. Flythe, the president, presided over the meeting. Similar business was tafcen up as for the —Huntly H.D. Club. The president said she would be able to take a car load of women to the District Home Demonstration meeting on May 2.
