Miss Margaret Browning Cook, sister of the bride served as the maid of honor and she wore a blue taffeta dress.
The matron of honor wa3 Mrs. Mary L. Hawkins of Silver Springs, Md., who was dressed in yellow taffeta.
Miss Marie Goode of Flint Hill, the bride’s,, maid, wore a taffeta dress of pink.
Courtney Gardine of Washington, D. C., served as best man, and the ushera were William C. Hawkins of Sifter Springs, Md.; and Wilmer Barry Cook, brother of the bride. The groomsmen wore buttonieres of white carnations in their lapels.
The ring bearer was Claude Richardson Cook, nephew of the bride, who was dressed similar to the groomsmen. Linda Burnette Cook, the bride’s niece was the flower girl, wearing a dress of pale blue taffeta aruj net, and she carried a white brisket filled with rose petals.
Mrs. Cook, mother of the bride, wore a black dress with a rose coTbred yoke and black accessories and a corsage of orchids.
Mrs. Walker, the bridegroom’s mother, had on a rose colored dress with a bodice of lace and an orchid corsage. Her accessories were of navy blue.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. Claude Cook, sister-in-law of the bride, presided at the punch bowl, and Mrs. Emory Russell assisted her in Phe serving of the bride’s cake.
Following the reception the couple left for a southern wedding trip. Mrs. Walker wore a traveling suit of navy blue and gray with matching accessories and an orchid corsage.
The bride is a graduate of Washington high school and holds a position at Lansburg Department store, in Washington, D.C.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Fork Union Military Academy and the Benjamin Franklin University. He served thtee years in the U. S. Navy, and is now employed at the post office department in Washington, D. C.
