The Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the Washington Methodist church, met on Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Carson Andersonl' ’
The program was “Youth Our Partners in Kingdom Building,”
with Mrs. Floyd Compton, Mrs. E? S. Wagner, Mrs. Lester Burke, and Mrs. C. R. Racer taking part. A playlet in connection with the program topic was also presented. The devotional was conducted by Miss Ethel Jenkins.
The society also held a shower during the meeting for the benefit of the Methodist Orphanage in Richmond. Thirteen members were present.

Hostess At Bridge Supper
Mrs. H. C. Warwick entertained at a bridge supper on Wednesday evening, April 19, having six tables of bridge. —The high prize was won by Mi s. Mary Botts Quaintance, the second highest one was awarded to Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Jr., and the consolation prize was received by Mrs. Frances Thornton.

The Woman’s Auxiliary to the Rappahannock Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a square dance for the benefit of the fire company at the Washington High School auditori.m Saturday, April 29, from 9 p.m. to midnight. Stag or drag $1.50. Music by Free Stat^ Ramblers.
