L, Dalton, Associate Animal Husbandman of VPI, give an interesting account of what the Extension Service has, and is doing in connection with the Feeder Calf Sales to be held over the state this year. Mr. Dalton advised that Virginia was the only state in the union offering official grading in connection with their beef cattle marketing program and the good job these graders were doing was obvious to anyone attending the sales. He stated further he was convinced the best Angus cattle in the United States were in Virginia, and that one Iowa man had written him wanting two carloads of Angus feeders.
