Her culprits are usually “drunks," and partkipante in Saturday night fisticuffs which have long beeen the prerogative of the hillman. Few appeals have been noted from'her decisions.
Everything considered, Clintwood's experiment has been an unqualified success, and it has resulted in redoubled interest by the citizens in community affairs, as is evidenced by the crowds of citi*ens who for the first time ii> their lives attend the regular meetings of the Town Council. These crowds have become so peat that the sessions ere now being held in the county courts house where soffkient room is pro. vided to accommodate them. And these people do not come to scoff or to heckle f e “city mothers," but rather to talk over tfceir problems and try to discover a mutual means wheneeby the town of CHntwood may be made a little better place hi which to live.
